Is there any reason to believe things will get better?
It feels like a sizable part of this generation won't reproduce or have only single-parent children. Being a child of a single parent is one of the biggest correlators with unadjusted and asocial behavior later in life.
It feels like we're headed for a collapse. Next generation will have even more single mother males who will fail in an academic environment that sets them up to fail causing an even bigger disparity in education and even more women deciding to have their children alone.
Or am I just being alarmist?

Declining birth rates in developed countries are only a real problem for people who unironically wish to prop up the debt economy and usury. This is the same shit they are saying about Japan, and have for almost a century. Except 60 years ago, ~50 million and multiplying Japanese were "too many". Now, 127 million and declining is "not enough".
