So according to experts, $75000/year is the perfect salary for happiness, after which people's day-to-day happiness no longer improves. The obvious follow-up question is why don't we tax salaries above $75000/year much more significantly than we already do and use the funds to help struggling people in low-paying jobs make ends meet and become happier?
