Italy joined the war in 1940 when it was clear France was defeated and sneakily took a chunk of Savoy. They also invaded Albania and sent a few thousand troops to help Germany on the Russian front. That is it.

They capitulated as soon as the British and Americans landed on Sicily in 1943.
