How realistic is a western Canadian separatist movement actually getting enough political power to create a union or even nation comprised of multiple provinces to leave Canada. Wishful thinking or totally in the realm of possibility? am i just being autistic?
Unfortunately it won't make any difference with BC blocking access to the ocean. If we had access to the sea Parliament would have been OKCd years ago.

Won't happen, there's more separatist sentiment in Atlantic Canada anyways.
In geopolitical circles it has been speculated that Alberta might attempt secession (affirmed as a legal possibility thanks to the Quebecois) due to several economic and political factors stemming from Canadian demographics, taxes, energy, and geography.

Never. Western Canada would join the USA first.

Nova Scotian Here 100% true would love to see my province leave canada

I'd be plenty happy with that, would make lots more sense for both sides than outright independence

Only province this would get any traction is Alberta.

I would also be happy with America picking us up, plus we would most likely vote republican if we were given voting rights (which we probably would), along with good primary industries. its a win/win really.
