Trump is about to go through with a plan in the works since the early '90s which will require Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to be overcapitalized so they can't compete with the big banks, making smaller lenders and credit unions have to go to big banks to sell their mortgages, which will charge higher rates because they are the competitors, which will eventually kill all the small banks and lenders, and with no competition will be free to jack up rates through the roof and get rich, while making it impossible for people to get affordable loans, which will kill the middle class, causing us to be a nation of low class civilians that can't afford to get the loans needed to purchase appreciating assets like real estate without taking a big loss from interest rates.

This is all happening with nobody talking about it. Probably the biggest long term issue there is. All planned out in the early '90s, maybe even earlier, and Trump is riding the boat to kill Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
