for some reason in the Smash Bros community they make up like 85% of the players.

Seems like a lot of the black guys I've met, even ones that didn't seem 'nerdy' on the outside, are at least aware of or into Bleach. Anyone know why this anime might be more popular with blacks than other shows? I've watched the series but don't see anything that is particularly stand-out as an attraction to the black audience. From my experience the ones that are generally grew up in white areas. My guess is they got into it as a way to blend in. I have known a few black guys who were into the anime/weeb thing.
