The gun charges were more legitimate than the kid diddling accusations (there was zero proof or suggestion prior to the fire that kid diddling was going on).

Fire was started by FBI chemical agents ignited by live rounds and fueled by the kindling of the tank-destroyed compound plus ammunition stores.

The firearm violations are easy to explain given that they all link back to a single complain about 'automatic' gunfire. When you have 40 people all shooting at the same time someone with zero personal experience with automatic fire isn't going to be a qualified judge. But the ATF uses complains like normal police use reports of suspicious people.

The ATF lost their shit because the cultists followed all the rules and regulations for selling firearms but the ATF didn't like the volume of sales they had.

The child abuse claim were fabricated with no evidence. At the congressional investigation it comes out that it was suggested that they might be abusing children, and how that would get approval for a high risk flashy raid. That morphed into the cultists are abusing children and they need to be saved.

The FBI intentionally destroyed and lost evidence to cover up their actions.

The fire was started by tear gas canisters being thrown into a building. Tear gas burns to activate and the heat set off a fire. The speed of the fire was surprising to the FBI, but totally inline with every fire department experience. Their is a reason the tear gas comes with fire warnings the FBI ignored.

In no building could you safely throw tear gas canisters. They will start fires if they land on or near anything flammable.
