The realisation that there is a God need not be an uncomfortable one... It should be the greatest discovery ever. We are very lucky to have a long suffering, merciful, and loving God who is truly GOOD.
Why would anyone refuse to conform their will to that of such a God?
God knows what is best for us. Secularism is empty and dead, look around you, look at the modern world.
Materialism will not profit any one of you.
There are two choices:
1) Accept God, live a happy life with abundant blessings, grow in joy as you grow closer to God, facing all hardship and trial with trust in God and joy despite all troubles. Live in heaven in enternal bliss with the most loving Holy Trinity and all the saints.
2) Reject God, live a miserable and unfulfilling life, growing more and more wicked; and then regret it for eternity when confusion is destroyed and you can no longer kid yourself.
Not much of a choice, is it?
Remember; MARTYRS LITERALLY LIVE HAPPIER LIFES THAN ROCK STARS. Think about that. Rock Stars seem to have it all, they have nothing because they don't have God. Martyrs appear to lose it all, they have everything because they have God.
