If there is a revolution hypothetically and the workers do, in some way or form, seize the means of production, what happens from there? A lot of times I just hear people yell SEIZE THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION but dont elaborate on what happens after.

You do realize that ideology is dead and if anything were to "seize the memes of production" it would be the robots in the skynet uprising right senpai?

You commies are at the point where you can't even seize the means of burger production at mcdonalds because of automation.

>SEIZE THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION
in practice is seizing private property and proclaiming it's state property from now on.

It's just a buzzphrase to make theft more digestable for the public opinion, the workers themselves don't gain anything by it.
>>
That's what unions are supposed to be for. however, >>132129518 is absolutely right in the sense the left today is taught to be afraid of guns and are at their core conflict adverse.

You may see certain more radicalized members pretend they're ready to die for the cause but when it comes time to do something they'll find every excuse in the world to run and hide. Most leaders do not lead by example either and rather let the leg work be done by impressionable youth who can only be fooled so long.

It's already been done on a small scale in select cities in the US. Detriot, MI. Camden, NJ. The power was shifted from the business executives to the workers via unions and bullying legilation.

Go visit those places if you want to see what happens after. The business couldn't sustain there and had to leave or go bankrupt. Violent crimes per capita became the worst in the US. The only people who have jobs in Camden are gov't workers. The families of gov't workers mooch off them and sling dope to sustain.

A while back, the gov't decided to use Camden as a test bed for "Golden Sheild"-like surveillence tech like the cameras that can hear gunshots and automatically pan towards it. They haven't admitted that the police cruisers have cameras which can scan and identify faces by driving by them.

Don't ask. Just go.

What happens is once a marxist revolution succeeds, the useful idiots are dealt with while the actual bolshevists make themselves rich while they force the country to work for them. Congrats you just enslaved yourselves.

Let's disregard for a monent that today's leftists are pussies and assume they manage to pull it off.

So you killed the evil factory owners (or every shareholder and their families down to the last toddler plus the board of directors if you want to be realistic) and took their belongigns, now fucking what?
If you want The People's newly acquired factory to function in any way, you'll have to appoint a board of your own and bam, the worker's fucked again, only this time it's worse because instead of profesionals, the company is being run by a couple of political appointees.
>>
>workers "seize production"
>workers vote to give themselves raises
>products are all now too expensive
>no one buys them
>they all lose their jobs, factory shuts down
>New Detroit
