I have been wondering about the integrity of Reason lately, and this seals their fate as far as I'm concerned. They shouldn't claim to be Libertarian. Is there a more reputable source of news without this insidious corruption?

Yeah I'm from the North. I would NEVER put up a statue to Robert E Lee or fly a Confederate flag because the South killed thousands of my state's sons. That would be a slap in the face to my ancestors.
That being said, I'm not Southern. I'm not going to go down South and tell them how to view their history. Taking down those statues needs to be a local decision, not one urged on by some guy in "Reason Magazine's" New Jersey office.

Reason has always been sketchy on integrity. You win some, you lose some.

Exactly, all this is is cultural destruction of someone else's culture and heritage. Southerners feel the same about monuments to Grant and Sherman.
