I propose we head to Venus as Mars is already in the sight of liberals. The planet will be harder to terraform but the difficulty will only harden our resolve.
it would be easier to terraform venus, as it still has the magnetic shields required to maintane an atmosphere and shield us from radioactivity
mars is cold and dead
just detonate some of our spare nukes in low orbit of venus, vent some of that dense gas into space, filter out whats left, then install a solar shield in orbit
boom, new planet

Venus' surface is at 450 degrees, the pressure in the surface is 90 times stronger than Earth's and that atmosphere is composed almost entirely of CO2.

The worst part is the heat on Venus. You can't move a planet further away from its Sun. Even if it were possible to terraform it and create an atmosphere, it's still ungodly close to unlimited heat, so those weather mods won't last a generation.
It would be easier to live on our moon or in LEO. Just not as fun.

well, it's not a bad idea, the atmosphere is so dense that we could float colonies to the layer of the atmosphere that is almost livable. We would have to bring everything with us tho

Venus is hotter than Mercury
