National Socialism isn't communism, economically it's something similar to Northern European countries. It is technically socialism in that the government is spending money on people but in reasonable ways that better society not the nigger on welfare with 7 kids way. The "socialism" is mainly there to differentiate it from Fascism which is more free market.

To elaborate, NatSoc view society as essentially a big family not as a giant collection of individuals. If you are a low quality person, it lowers the quality of the country. The government should thus focus on improving this "family." Getting people down on their luck back to work. Encouraging good diets and exercise. Promoting the family unit and stopping degeneracy which destroys it like homosexuality and pedophilia.
