The /pol/ mindset seems to attract more intelligent people, so I have enjoyed coming here for discussion. I think there's something about honesty and the lack of usernames that drives it.

If you don't have an internet reputation to maintain, you're way more likely to tell the truth. Plebbit, Facebook, etc, force people to censor themselves or suffer social consequences of all kinds when they say the truth.

Having no username is awesome. I don't want to be recognized as a 'good poster' or have to defend my past writings because some dipshit decides to dig through my post history and use it in another thread.
