ISIS doesnt work like the Taliban; they have no roots in Iraq, they are mainly foreigners. They will lack backup and supplies and manpower. It might be possible that new militant sunni groups might rise after the conflict.

well the united states lost years of work. hope the pentagon can justify this. especially since all they did was decrease american troops in the middle east so they could have a stand by army to fight the civilian population if need be
