How would you call it if in your country, someone gets elected by defending a specific idea one one side and on the other side by promising the key ministries to his (more experienced) competitors? Instead of building a team of inexperienced people he prefers to give the Economy, Trade, Justice etc to the right and Health, Education, Culture etc to the left.
His objective is to defend his idea AND gaining confidence of the people (votes) by putting experienced people on the key positions.
Did it already happen somewhere?
What is your opinion on such a move?
Why do you believe it's impossible?

Doesn't work, they undermine you.
As an example we should all be familiar with one of Trump's few mistakes was he allowed too many Nevertrumpers in his admin to try to get GOPe support and retained some Obama people.
Trump should have absolutely said that political appointments go exclusively to his people and perhaps when absolutely necessary Cruz people who came over after Cruz dropped out.
Democrats, Nevertrumpers, Jebbers etc should have been completely purged.

I am not familiar with the Trump administration, not from the US
Did these people backstabbed him? He gave them key positions and they betray him??

Trump has done a pretty good job so far but parts of his agenda have been slowed by various people within the executive branch who are not loyal to Trump (always either Obama holdovers or from various establishment republican factions) selectively leaking information and undermining his policies.

Some of it is backstabbing by people he allowed appointments of, some of its by Obama people who weren't immediately fired.
