>99% of /pol/ have read zero political philosophy
Explain yourselves
I read Mein Kampf.
Does the poetic edda count
Inb4 "I don't need theory, philosophy doesn't affect politics!"
>>131882034
Because all the people ive seen proudly reading political theory are the cringe-worthy protestor types who fail to get any real results.
I have a life
>/pol/ is a board full of dumb, politically illiterate manchildren
What a surprise.
>>131882034
Politics stem from the underlying governing structures and traits of individual and collective evolutionary psychology and sociotechnological environmental interactions on long time-scales, thus, up to the present, 99.999% of 'political philosphy' is irrelevant.
>>131882034
Common sense is overrated, we need more intellectuals
So what's your point? Faggot's should rule the world cos they take it in the ass and suck dick?
>>131882034
You'd be surprised how well-learned /pol/acks are. Of course you'll always have the uneducated and underaged shitters here and there but the majority of /pol/acks have degrees (from the same brainwashing institutions/universities/colleges you leftshits are going to/went), have high-paying jobs (real jobs and not some barista or other libshit jobs), read classic literature (fiction and nonfiction), dabble in philosophy and politics (and read materials on the subjects), and so on. It's just that trolling the Left is far more entertaining. In most cases, /pol/acks use the same "political philosophy" you've stated against you, and even use stuff you don't even know.
The fact that /pol/acks was able to undermine your "Madam President", Commissar Sandersky, and the rest of you Demoshits is proof that /pol/ is quite well-learned in stuff that matters. None of that diversity garbage.
>>131882034
I've read the art of war.
That's all the politics you need.

No. What we need is private property ownership and substantially free markets. Only then can we assess the value of common sense.
If the intellectual is so superior, then why is their supremacy wholly dependent upon planning my life. Seems to me they simply employ their intellect to service their own privilege.
No wonder they're all commies.
What do you guys think about Confucianism?
Just finished a book about it an hour ago and it seems like it does have some interesting concepts regarding conservatism in matters of culture, unity of family, religion and the ideal statesman
>>131892634
It is too directed to a specific time and society, it is very outdated. Buddhism, stoicism, epicurism, anything is more useful in practise than confucianism.
>>131892377
do you think most people can be wrong?
>>131882034
I've read quite a bit, I was reading stuff like Popper and Fukuyama as a teen. My understanding of politics is greater than any of the people in my social circle and I'm an open white nationalist
>>131882034
I studied in Italy, a cultured nation, not in burgerstan where they teach you basket and faggot house economics.
So I did.

>It is too directed to a specific time and society
It has been in use for more than 2500 years in China and for more than a thousand years in Vietnam, Japan and Korea. Plus it has gained influence in China during the last 30 years
I didn't think of the specific rituals and cultural quirks it has included in the Book of Rites or the Book of Documents, but more of the political and cultural concepts of Confucianism, such as the seeking for knowledge and intellectual nobility, the loyalty to your kin and family, the importance of cultural traditions and the de facto denial of metaphysics
