Speaking from a Hungarian perspective, a massive population-drop is expected soon. Back during the Soviet occupation, the government had health policies which caused an insane spike in population. As far as I know, abortions were banned, contraceptives were heavily controlled and the Ministry of Health glorified childbearing. "For a girl to birth is glory, for a woman to birth is duty." was their motto. The overabundance of people from those times is scheduled to die in the coming years, so following that our age-tree should stabilize. We got a bit of a gypsy issue as well, but the locals are handling it and SJWs are ridiculed so there's nothing protecting them. Our minorities have the option of either becoming decent or dying out.

Still, I would not say we are that bad in comparison to our neighbors. Budapest is a capital more developed and international that most other european capitals. Berlin is a mess, Paris smells like piss and Wien is overcrowded as all heck.
