This I completely agree with.

Everyone else however, you have not convinced me. I work at an immigration law firm at the moment, and for every client we have, the second they are deported they walk right back in and continue to do so.

For the illegals we have in the country right now, of course I do not believe they are above the law, so they should be treated equally/worse than US citizen offenders, but not on my fucking money. Imprison them by making them do detained hard labor or some shit, not just waste our money and shit on their asses.

The underpinnings of this bill are bogus and racist. There is no empirical evidence showing that undocumented immigrants commit more crime than the general population, and common sense would tell you that someone on the run from the law is probably not going to bring unnecessary attention to themselves.

The vast majority of undocumented immigrants could (or could have) come here through a visitor visa. Does someone become a threat the second they overstay their visa? Of course not.

Our immigration laws don't exist with the assumption that anyone who is not American is an evil person. All humans commit crime. Immigration laws exist to prevent our economic and political system from being overburdened.

More importantly, it's all moot. The bill has no chance in the senate and the Republican party is using to distract from the fact they are trying to destroy healthcare in the United States.
