Any kind of tradition/philosophy/religion that you may be looking for is one that would foster self-respect first, and self-discipline.

Europe alread has/had this, it's called monarchy, and it has failed and Europe has failed because of the allowance of the individual and the breaking down of the feudal structure.

Though Europeans, just like natives americans, or Asians, or Africans, are huge groups who count themselves as individual collectives, which oppose one another.

And therefore do not think the same, do not hold the same values, ideas, ideals, or beliefs.

So in essence your initial proposition which grouped the English, French, Spanish, German, Italians and so on together cannot have an answer.

Each group thinks differently and has a different collective memory, mentality, and identity and so on.
