Fucking Christ. I can understand all the hacks like Colbert treating Stone like shit and generaly being unprofessional scum they are, but I thought Charlie ROse is considered the highest tier there is when it comes to calm intellectual discussions, but even he can't help himself but start to pushing propaganda down Oliver's throat.
They all just lost it. Completely.

>Oliver Stone asked Putin, a former security service agent and director, what his response would be if a gay man were showering next to him in a submarine.
>“Well, I prefer not to go to the shower with him,” Putin answered candidly, laughing. “Why provoke him? But you know, I’m a judo master.”

Its really a shame Stone completely skipped what Putin did in East Germany (he was just a paper pusher in Dresden) and how he managed to get ahead in St. Petersburg/Leningrad in the early 1990s.
Sobchak, his mentor, is completely ignored, and how he was killed by Putin later on.
Also it would be great if Stone asked Putin about his former boss KGB General Oleg Kalugin, who defected to America after exposing Putin.
The interviews were presented good, but Stone asked only softball questions.

>Its really a shame Stone completely skipped what Putin did in East Germany
Stone made clear that this story begins in 2000, when Putin becomes president, up to the modern times. This is not a biopic.
>Sobchak, his mentor, is completely ignored, and how he was killed by Putin later on.
What? It's first time I hear that he killed him. He absolutely adored Sobchak and considered him to be his role model. And you can say many things about Putin, but there's nothing he tresures more than his inner circle, no matter what.
i really enjoyed the interviews
