Why do the most liberal and primarily wealthy, secular countries in Europe have among its highest birthrates? Why do relatively conservative countries like Italy and Poland have low birthrates in comparison? This goes against a lot of trends in birthrates that one would expect.

we are a liberal shithole. The reason we don't have kids it's because we got fucked by the economy. Young adults can't get a job here so they move somewhere else, the rest either become NEETs or keep expanding their curriculum till they get hired. We are full of old people, houses are expensive as fuck, no jobs and the welfare is low. Having more than one kid is risky as fuck.

I feel you. There are lots of Poles in UK and elsewhere probably boosting those statistics for UK and others, along with Ahmeds, Jamals and whatever names Indians have and we don't have children for the same reasons.

France it's the Maghrebis and Sub-saharan Africans (mostly Muslim therefore conservative) that has improted since 60s-70s. a part of it must be Brussels and Netherlands.
