What is wrong with the fact that millions of Russians and Chinese were killed? If anything it proves that these leaders understood how worthless their own people were. Having a large centralized government does the exact opposite of liberating the workers. The USSR ruled over the people, not the other way around.

The USSR fucked everything up. Lenin wanted the state to have power for a limited amount of time, and he called it State Capitalism because the state just took over the role of Capitalists. However Stalin changed nothing and said that what the USSR was doing was Socialism.

Socialism is acquiring the state to then transform society to give workers the means of production. That means workers need to own the factories, the farms, the shops, and everything else. Socialism IS NOT acquiring the state. Socialism is acquiring the state TO THEN SWITCH OVER to a Socialist society
