Hey /pol/acks who were raised by a single mom. I've got a question.

When you were growing up, we're you abnormal or considered weird by others?

For me, my mom divorced my dad and never let me see him. She sheltered me and never encouraged me to go out and make friends, play sports, or even socialize, thus leading me to become a shut-in up until I was 17. I discovered 4chan and ironically, /pol/ and a few other sources helped me become a normal pseudochad of sorts. Anyone else have a story similar to mine?
