If you're interested in learning about investment, I would suggest investopedia, they are a really good pragmatic resource for investment/finance information. I still use them to learn about concepts to this day because they are so comprehensive.

My own personal view is that stock picking is for suckers (and this is actually a pretty widely held view among economists) so your best bet is to just make a portfolio using ETFs and adjusting it to your risk tolerance (i.e determining an appropriate mix of cash, fixed income (bond) etfs, and stock etfs)
