Funnily enough, it's been unseasonably cold this summer in MN. Night is still in the 50s. Things are getting warmer, but It's certainly not doomsday and the effect seems to be milder winters, not hotter summers.

What do you think happens when ice ages end? The earth doesn't have ice caps 100% of the time, it's part of a cycle lasting millions of years. We have no idea what carbon levels or the climate is like when they melt because there's no ice older than the last ice age to study. They would be melting now even if humans never existed.

I believe that humans are affecting the climate which is also affected on much longer time scales and by the sun.

The problem with the Paris climate accord, it doesn't do America much good to be ruined economically to stop the average temperature from changing 5 degrees over decades. And meanwhile the Chinese and Indians might be going green on paper, the reality won't be green at all.
