What did you expect with all the leftist brainwashing rammed into the pages of one of the dullest franchises in the history of movie franchises? Each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody, just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."

Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. One of the interesting clashing narratives of the HP franchise including all the new entrants is the treatment and exclusion of Muggles (nonmagic folk) in magical society. Across the board Muggles are seen as backwards and destructive, definitely not to the equivalence of wizards and witches no matter what feats they perform in their own ghettoized world. I noticed in the newest entrant to the universe Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them that they go the step of having the villain obsessively push for destroying the barrier between nonmagical and magical societies, where the muggles would finally learn of the magical folk around them. This is treated as a VERY BAD THING which cannot happen under any circumstance. Why? Because muggles are mostly bad! Sure there's a rare one, like the secondary protagonist of the film (a muggle who falls in love with the female lead's sister) who is a perfectly sensible and vehicle for the audience to take a ride with, but for the most part muggles can and will menace magical society to overall they cannot be allowed in. Ever. Because there is very little in common with both of the societies, and therefore they must be separate.

...So why is this push for immigration so strong when Harry Potter ITSELF pushes the narrative that not all people are equal and some must be kept away from another for the sake of that group's survival and identity remaining intact and out of danger of a source that will refuse to assimilate or menace your population?
