It has been three months since the Dutch national election results came out. The parties are still debating on what the coalition should look like. This takes abnormally long because most parties exclude the PVV. This exclusion forces the right wing and centrist parties (VVD, CDA, D66) to seek co-orperation with a left wing party.
Most possibilities are ruled out since the SP excludes the VVD, the PvdA doesn't want to rule after their great loss, negotiations with GroenLinks failed on immigration and it looks like negotiations with the Christenunie are going to fail too.
In conclusion, it looks like new elections are coming up or a minority cabinet will be formed. Below TK2017 in the image are the current seats, below 18-6 2017 are the latest polls.
Maybe there is hope for the Netherlands
>Background:
>There are 150 seats, the seats represent votes. In the Netherlands parties usually form a coalition to rule. A coalition between parties can only exist if they together make up at least 76 seats. Negotiations will have to be made because they have to agree on each other.
