Why had it become acceptable for millennials to still live at home with their parents?

Shouldn't they move out and find a job?

But who will cook my tendies?

Jews and globalization.

Then they dont find a job. Then they become re-search subjects. Then they learn to cook tendies.
>>
>>131489032
Agreed. There has to be something wrong with you if you don't get sick of your parents by your early twenties.
I moved out at 19 because I needed some independence and they couldn't stop treating me like a child.
My sister still lives at home and doesn't work. She receives $2000 a month in disability or some shit because she's "depressed" and all she does is go on Facebook and talk about how busy she is and how hard she has it.
If anything happens to my parents she's going to learn the hard way because if she comes to me she's either getting a job or she can find somewhere else to stay.
>>
>>131489032
In the 50's you could get a job out of highschool and raise a family. I don't want to go to college because its a fucking cringe fest full of degenerate normies. I also don't live at home. Im just saying the system is getting rigged for the fucks.

>>131489333
I hate this "IT WAS SO EASY IN THE 50s" meme. Its an excuse that my generation uses to not get off of their ass. I probably attribute it to the fact 90% of millenials are socially inept retards because their parents sat them in front of a TV and didn't do anything with them. I'm a highschool drop out and I make about $80k a year. Get yourself out there, make some connections, and be the best person you can be. Employers are turned off by mopey and socially awkward weirdos.
>>
>>131489032
my mom suggested i move back in with her once i sold my condo
housing market here is too high
it was weird at first because i had been out of her house for almost a decade
was smart tho, in the past 4 months, housing market has shown signs of cooling down
house prices have not dropped significantly but within a year its projected that ill be able to purchase something better than before
stacking up and saving is good
should be back out within a year tops
>>
I'm 22 and living with my mom. I'm in my 4th year of my degree. Will move out as soon as I'm finished and have found a job, so pretty soon
>>
>>131489032
As long as the house is big enough and the parents stop trying to actively parent when their child reaches majority, plus some form of wealth transfer so the kids feel enfranchised in the home, multi-generational homes aren't a bad idea. The elderly are cared for with minimal additional effort, kids have built in babysitting and it's more cost effective.
>>
>>131489723
Did i say it was easy? My grandpa raised 2 kids when he was 18 and worked out the same job that he got out of highschool for 45 years. You're right though, the economy is not any worse now days. We are not in any more debt. We don't have socialist healthcare. The tax rate isnt through the roof, and or getting taxed for dumb shit. Its way easier to start a buisness now days, and you are not a raging thumping cock hungry faggot.

Yeah keep blaming the economy for your own short comings. The economy is not to blame for your ineptitude to find a career.
However, I will agree with you that living is harder because of the economy and taxation. You can still find a job to support yourself though. You won't have all of the luxuries your grandparents had but you will survive.

What the economy is to blame for:
Low dollar value
High cost of living

What the economy is not to blame for:
Your ability to find a job

My argument is against the fact that you think the economy is to blame for peoples inability to find work. It is not.

I grew up in a mostly Italian-Irish town outside NYC, and so many of my friends lived at home, whether they went to college or not. And most of my friends did not.

Now I find them on Facebook a lifetime later and they're still in the same house, but their parents are gone. It's the only way they could afford to live in a nice suburban town 15 mins outside of the city.

Maybe its also the fact that half the pussies of my generation dont want to do the hard jobs and just want cushy office jobs.

The FED controls the monetary supply
Inflation is a monetary phenomena
Wages lag inflation.

Induce inflation for 100 years and....

You can thank the kikes for making Millennials the first generation which cannot afford to own a home to raise a family in.

What better way to destroy the white middle class goy.
>>
>>131490638
High cost of living and lower $ value directly effects your ability to find a career that you can raise a family on and be prosperous. Thats all i said, so you disagree?

Really? Sounds interesting. What do you actually do? They don't actually hack away with pickaxes anymore, I assume. Are you driving large machinery?

I met a guy who went into some niche of the mining industry; he told me it only costs $250 to buy rights but I wouldn't be able to do anything with it in California.

He said even if I followed all laws to the letter, they would not issue me the permits or whatever that I needed. Even if I present a plan to return the land as it was, even better than it was, They. Will. Not. Allow. It. Because California. I'd have to go to Nevada.

It wasn't anything I actually planned to do; we were just shooting the shit.

Was writing a whole essay and deleted it again, because it really just comes down to rent & cost of living skyrocketing and insane requirements to get a job. When I was a kid you could get a job right after (13 years of) school. Now you need a university degree + experience for the same job. My older sister dropped out of school, went into a trade, could afford to live alone by the time she was 18, but rent for the apartment she rented back then has more than doubled.

Sure, when the working week is back to 35 hours and purchasing power is the same as boomers enjoyed in the 60's where you could have a house, car, wife and 2 kids on a single non-professional income, then millennials will move out and 'grow up'

My grandfather worked without college, brought a house after 2 years of hard work and started a family.
I'll have to take a huge debt, lost 5 years of my life learning some really advanced crap, work for 10 years so I can get a decent wage, then pay my debt, then start a mortgage with 5 times more taxes than he paid. Sounds worth for me.
>>
>>131492569
It's bullshit. I work 50-55 easily and barely walk away with $1000 a week.
Every auction I go to is dominated by gooks who pitch the opening bid $300k above anything a reasonable person would pay for a weatherboard shithole in the suburbs.

Im in a similar boat. Last job i worked 60-70 hours a week to clear 1500, with no home life. Current one is 40 ish hours but im only clearing 800 and thats after getting a payrise.

Worst part is i pay rent to a gook landlord who doesnt even live in australia.

The silver lining is if we get lucky our housing market will tank and our economy will crash and hopefully some of the foreigners will stop coming over.

Shits fucked.

>>
There's nothing wrong with living with your family as long as you're not a lazy NEET.
>>
>>131493019
I reckon we're 6-12 months away from having the bubble burst. A friend who works as a realtor tells me that a huge majority of all homes bought by Asians in the past few years have been paid for in CASH as fast as they can bring it in from overseas.

Property has always been a good investment but when every yellow nip fuck is assuming paying 1.1 mil for a fibro shed in a 60's suburb is a good move, things are going to fail somewhere.
>>
>>131489032
Let me share something with you my friend.... for the entirety of human civilization children have lived with their parents, they would get married and build a house next to their parents and the family would expand, multiple family units like this would form a villiage. This whole "move out!" is a concept of how best to run a messed up system.... why not live and work with the parents, build wealth together, help each other out, live as one collective.... then perhaps there wouldnt be so much depression and loneliness in this day and age... oh and also much bigger families...

My GF works in real estate for a gook boss, even the gook boss reckons therell be a crash soon.

As an aside, my gf is one of the token white girls they hired because they need someone fluent in english to answer the phones and talk to the few english speaking clients they get. Most sales are either asians living here or asians from over seas.

I hope to fuck it crashes soon, otherwise i dont know what other option our generation has.
