Communism was repurposed after WWII by the Frankfurt school. Instead of the worker rebelling against the rich oppressors, which failed in most of the places it was tried, and would never work in America which was super prosperous at the time, they replaced the worker with identity groups like gays, women, blacks, basically anyone but the straight white male that they could trick into being an ally of their communist cause. And the oppressor became the straight white male. Being gay and participating in LGBTXYZLMNOP culture IS communism.
