when are these news organization drug out of their rolling officer chairs into the streets and executed

They like stories that provide 'teachable moments' the stories with a moral that meshes with the message they are selling anyway.

The news today is just a way to subtly (or not so subtly) nudge opinion in a desirable direction and guide people's interest toward thing our betters want us to pay attention to.

It's at the point where they can get the public to do almost anything they want via control of education, media and entertainment.
Frightening, but I almost admire how sophisticated it all is. Some very clever people are running the show... wish they were one my team.
