There's layers to this.

A) The Jews, similar to Christians, believe in a coming age where the spiritual and material worlds will intertwine more directly and things on Earth will be less evil and more just and holy. Jews believe they will be at the forefront of this occurence. The Bible, even the Old Testament, is filled with ideas about showing compassion and caring for the poor, the oppressed, and generally anyone at the margins of society. So many of the Jewish foot-soldiers and middlemen for Communist revolutions in places like Russia and Germany, at least for a time, believed they were genuinely helping the poor and paving the way for a better world. It's an idea that's built into their bones and is a big part of their culture.

B) Meanwhile, the elite Jews who basically own the banks and have huge sway over industrialism, saw this is a new and insidious ploy to pit two sides against each other, in a manner in which they will profit from both. Look into the Rothchilds and the Napoleonic Wars for examples of these kinds of "playing both sides" tactics. So you endorse and strengthen the capitalist system which enriches Jewish bank interests, you endorse and strengthen communism which enriches the growing Soviet-Jewish bureaucracy, and now you have two Jewish ruling classes, in charge of Goy populations who can now be exploited by capitalism, exterminated on a whim by communism, and sent off to war against each other, to weaken the will and resolve of the people under both.
