Religion is the single most important influence on the world's politics, yet so many people are religiously illiterate. Seriously, I've chatted with fellow college students -- COLLEGE STUDENTS -- who don't know whether Saudi Arabia is Sunni or Shia. I talked to another girl (again, an actual college student) who didn't know whether Catholics followed the pope or not. I'm not making that up.
Is pol any more informed about religion than the general public?

Looks like someone is afraid to show his religious illiteracy. Probably an atheist who thinks he "knows more about the Bible than Christians."
