Narrated 'Aisha:
I used to wash the traces of Janaba (semen) from the clothes of the Prophet and he used to go for prayers while traces of water were still on it (water spots were still visible).

Many parts of the Qur'an are incomprehensible without the hadiths. Which is also why a lot of hadiths were made up. Naturally there are conflicting hadith-based explanations for many verses.
Also, anyone who unironically believes the Qur'an is the absolute word of the creator of the universe is a top-tier moron given the content of the Qur'an.
The most idiotic widely accepted teaching about the Qur'an is that it's co-eternal (with God) and uncreated. This is essentially a dogma of Sunni Islam.
