they literally are too stupid to make the connection. likewise, your average "conservative" who worships israel is too stupid to make the connection between jews and literally everything they hate.

Liberals have this idea where the "real" form of every religion or ideology is the one that totally conforms to secular, progressive liberalism. So they can just say they love and tolerate every religion and ideology while also demanding total obedience to their worldview.
