1) getting rid of ocare taxes, thus accelerating the implosion

2) getting rid of a mandate (you get fined if you don't have insurance) making sure prices rise even faster. Because without a fine, and with preexisting conditions, who's gonna buy health insurance before they get sick?

3) Cutting (read: slowing the rate of expansion) of medicare in 2025 - not gonna happen, because by that time this part of the law will be reversed, either by a democrat congress when they take over, or republican's might even do it themselves. If they wanted to cut medicare they would cut it today.

The only difference between this bill and the obamacare is no taxes and no mandate, leftists are just hysterical for no reason.

The whole point is to let it tank. Both sides want to do that, dem and rep, because they know it isn't sustainable. The ACA was designed to tank and so is the AHCA. The idea is to let it tank and then replace it with a normal universal healthcare system like every other country has. Neither party wants to say it outright though as they risk upsetting voters.

The thing is, a partial government healthcare system is far worse than either no system or universal healthcare. If you have universal healthcare the government can regulate prices and get them to a reasonable level. If you have no government healthcare then the government isn't spending anything on it.
