Working woman and good marriage are not mutually exclusive. I had a career and a wonderful husband. We shared all the responsibility, house, kids, etc. We barely made 200K between the two of us. Almost made it 25 yrs when he died suddenly. I was able to keep the house, car and not have my life financially ruined because I was a house wife. We lived frugally so the loss of one income wasn't a hard hit and I was able to just concentrate on my kids and grieve peacefully.

My point is it's wise that a woman works, the problem is most people don't know how to be partners and have no idea how to constructively unpack their baggage.
