You can say all you want about abortions, but banning it if anything will make things worse.
The child will either get killed in a unconventional medicine kind of way which will cripple or kill the mother as well or will be born to some dumb 16 girl with no means to support it's child.
Banning abortions is a shitty political move to make it look like they care. It sounds really good when you say it but it's a fucking crime is what it is.
