Because they don't actually want to help anyone. They just want to be perceived as helping people.

Helping people in your community is something that is time-consuming and actually possible. Helping someone on the other side of the world only requires the 1 mouseclick on social media to show other people that you did it - you don't actually need to accomplish anything.

In the USA, they fly from city to city and forget all the people they fly over. Take Zucc for example and his campaign to go to rural America and is actually surprised on how they live. Since all the money for Democrats moved to San Francisco after the tech boom, these elietes now control Democratic politics and don't get to see America outside Silicon valley. They'd rather fly to Nairobi or Dar Es Salam and help the people rather than rural Mississippi or coal country.

They want to play hero. They think that poor people living here can "just get help" and that they still somehow got it better. They don't realize in order to help others you have to help your own first.

What sounds more heroic and cooler. I helped a bum on the streets eat today or I gave away two dollars to some exotic land where they don't even grow their own food.

They were trained by globalists to export as much money as they can to (((charity's))) so they can skim off the top and keep poor country's in poverty.

To help the starving in Zimbabwe they can just scribble out a check and buy a clear conscience and pat themselves on the back all day.
To go down to the nursing home they would have to invest time, energy and some degree of emotional involvement, if they are even capable.
Then there would be the ugly realities involved, the overwhelming old people smell, mixed with the aroma of their roommate filling a bedpan.
The hassle of trying to communicate with someone who endlessly mumbles and repeats themselves while nor hearing1/2 of what you say.
Not to mention the real truth no one wants to realize, that they are looking at their own future.
No much too messy.
Just drop that bit of cash that isn't really enough that you're going to miss it and you can walk around all day feeling selfrighious.
