>drive on pothole filled roads, GST on repairs the other week cost me $3000 for a $500 repair in my car that cost $120000, $100000 of which was gas guzzler tax (its a 4 cylinder)
>arrive at work, work half the day
>on lunch break at work, decide to pay some bills
>hydro bill cost me $6700, I only used $25 of water
>work rest of day
>had a long day so stop at the store for bottle of whisky and some smokes
>total comes to $498.97 because of sin taxes
>sit on the couch and to watch some Netflix
>"your netflix subscription has been cancelled"
>see an attempted charge of $680
>shit forgot about the new Netflix tax
>can't afford Netflix anymore
>decide to sit on my deck
>wave to my neighbour Mohammed who came here last week
>he is driving a BMW and all of his 14 children have iPhone 8s
>he politely reminds me not to stare because my white privilege makes him uncomfortable
>decide to watch news
>Trudeau just gave $78 billion to Africa to help them have internet
Life sure is great in Canada!
