The goal of the (actually privilegied) left is to use lower/working class people as TOOLS for their narrative. They build a story saying that "poors are miserable but WE the left do help them" and thet need an army of cripples to do that. This is why for example the left has purposedly destroyed education and encouraged retardation nationwide ("no more rational thinking, math, reason, memorization" but enforcement of "creativity of the child, ((philosophy)), ((psychology))"), promoted affirmative (so that poorer social groups learn litteraly less: putting hard test along along the childhood time of a human being is what makes him learn elaborated material in a *progressive* manner)

Leftists and Marxists in particular are

1) NOT working class
2) Detest the actual working class

See how after Brexit some suggested those without a degree and old people should lose their political rights.

The only reason they mention the working class at all is because they have a special palce in the Marxist eschatology, but that role has largely been replaced by so called minorities and gays in the West.

Even Marx hated the shit out of the working class despite his ideology supposedly being the paradise of the working class.


The fact that the phrase "lumpenproletariat" even exists should be a clue as to what their motivations are.

Rather than living up to their ideals and lifting these most vulnerable of people up, they cast them aside because they're not politically useful.
The white working class, typically understood as essentially just more expensive manual labor, isn't particularly useful. There are cheaper alternatives for the same job done just as well nowadays. Long term, it's more feasible for the working class to adapt to the economy than the economy to adapt to the working class.

The Left is disgusting by the working class.

The Right is too busy manipulating the working class to actually give a fuck about them.

the "new left" in the aftermath of George McGovern's blow out loss of 1972: Liberals threw the New Deal labor wing of the party under the bus to become the modern Democratic party of identity politics, social liberalism, and economic centrism.

This strategy can be essentially summed up as "focus on the professional class and the lowest lumpenproletariat class (composed mostly of minorities) and ignore and/or marginalize the working class/organized labor wing of the left."

Traditionally when a candidate campaigns he attempts to fire up his base with the hopes that they will take his/her message to the low-information multitudes who don't care about politics and inspire them to show up at the polls. Democrats thought that they could cut their base out of the picture by going directly to the low-information voters with targeted advertising and laser-focused marketing. This strategy has so far been blowing up in their face as most people now accuse the Democrats of ideological hollowness and possessed by crass big money politics, and 2016 was a complete blow out loss for them because they went all in on the Hillary

The DNC became, in Keith Ellison's words, the Democratic Presidential Committee. They abandoned a 50 state strategy to focus heavily on swing states and macro-party issues at the expense of letting their ground game deteriorate to the point where it is at today, in near total rout. The DNC (or DPC in this case) put all of its eggs in the Hillary basket and lost, which is why they're facing an awkward reconciliation period with their base. We'll know this week if the party comes to its senses or doubles down on neoliberalism

Charles Murray (author of the bell curve) on Sam Harris' podcast talked about this new elite that is completely detached from the working class. He elaborates on this idea that the system is creating generations of people that are completely removed from those who have to work with their hands.
