It is not even a satire issue. Murray is probably a public figure, so he would have to prove that Oliver published it knowing what he said was false or that he a had a reckless disregard for the truth when he published it. Oliver cites non-bullshit sources for his 'facts' he states. Even if they would end up being false it doesn't mean he did it knowingly or that he did it with a reckless disregard for the truth.

It depends on other lawsuits related to the incident. A settlement that had no admitted fault would certainly result in an actionable claim and portraying his company as unwilling to protect their workers may result in higher labor costs down the line.
