Maybe its just modern Christianity, but it just seems to me that Christianity is a pussy religion with loving and forgiving enemies(even murderers and rapists) and turning other cheeks and loving sinners and accepting immigrants and minorities. Islam seems strong with slaying apostates and killing degenerates/sinners and kafirs. Hell, you can see this in how both religions respond to attacks:

Put aside your belief in the relation of Christianity with European Identity(which is mostly atheistic now), and lets discuss the facts of the matter.
