Does this footage not make you just well up with pride for Britannia? I feel legitimate patriotic sentiment and proud feelings reliving this incredible moment in British history. Maybe because it was one of the last times Britain came together as a nation and celebrated their position as a real power. Knowing that Britain is on its way to becoming an unrecognizeable Muslim version of its former self, watching footage like this feels bittersweet. So recent you almost feel like you can reach out and touch it, yet at the same time so far and removed it's almost as if it never happened
