Is the Nordic Model of Democratic Socialism basically National Socialism minus the aspects of volkisch nationalism?

You can't have national socialism without an ethnic component, i dont know if the nordics had thaf. In a way, post war Australia was almost an example of democratic national socialism - you had full employment, large scale public works, an explicitly racial policy (the white Australia policy), strong worker protections etc

It isn't National socialist though, that's why I'm asking if what a lot of social democratic countries do is basically similar to it though in terms of collectivist measures taken, high social trust, etc. minus the ethnic stuff

High social trust was a function of ethnic homogeneity, it wasn't something the government could impose. As for the collectivist measures and the general idea of labour and capital working together for the good of the country it was the general rule after the war in western countries till the seventies
>post war consensus in UK
>Fordism in America
>corporatism (corporate meaning body, not business corporation) in Germany and the Nordic states

They're all different but share a few common themes

I would say it's pretty similar, but I don't feel like doing an in depth analysis and comparison.
