What does /pol/ think of North Korea?
Are you in favor of war or should we wait for them to collapse?
Are they a real threat?

One things for sure, they like their beer cold

Not a real threat and should be left to govern themselves as they please. America is the single threat to global stability and the norks have the right to defend themselves.
North Korea remains a true place of suffering, starvation, and misery. Death camps with a truly evil despot.
Anyone who isn't an Anglo can die screaming
the norks have been quite happy living in the 70s while their leader plays with some old rockets
there will be no war for there is nothing to gain
they will not collapse for as long as the regime can keep the world hidden from the people

Fuck up North Korea's military and government installations, Liberate the North Korean people, aid in the reunification of North and South Korea. Throw a few of these in for good measure.

The Two Koreas problem isn't going to solve itself. It's only an American interest because we are invested in South Korea and nearby Japan.
I think whoever starts the war and unifies the Koreas, even at the cost of millions of lives, will be remembered as The Man Who Solved the Problem.

Glass. The fucking. Whole. Peninsula.
War isn't an option, despite all dick flailing.
Diplomacy + sanctions, even though it hasn't been sufficient, is the only way to go. They're building their stockpiles for deterrence. It's best that the US follow SK's lead on this one.
For instance, Moon has already been successful with cross-over efforts, and his proposal for a NK/SK winter Olympics is brilliant. The Kim regime may not collapse, (and quite frankly nobody wants it to except the North Koreans) but the westernization of NK is inevitable.
Slow and steady, as painful as it might be.
