What does /pol/ think of Dan Carlin?
I've very much come to like his pod casting, it's really good to listen to.

His Hardcore History stuff is great, the Common Sense stuff, not so much. He's a typical radical centrist cuck that just doesn't get it.

I'll give him credit for not letting Sam Harris gaslight him on his podcast, though.

I still have yet to see that particular podcast.
What's the big deal about Sam Harris? I've never heard of him.

He's pro-first and second amendment. Does not like insiders and corruption in US government.
But also has socialist tendencies, probably would vote for Bernie. And "DO NOT ANGER RUSSIAN BEAR, GOYS"
Still, I enjoy his content.

that's one thing i don't really get.
to me it sounds like he wants us to coexist with Russia. but at the same time he doesn't really address the fact that Russia has a recent history of violent expansion into places like Georgia and Ukraine.
Sure... peace is great, but the buck has to stop somewhere. I don't think we can just let Russia stomp around and reclaim other countries that have claimed their own independence. not that total war is the answer, but making some sort of resistance would be for the greater good.

Hardcore History is very entertaining and so is his fear and confusion regarding emerging new right. I enjoy his Common Sense show becasue I can get a glimpse of a cucked boomer's way of thinking.

>"DO NOT ANGER RUSSIAN BEAR, GOYS"
To be fair, he said something more along the lines "do not extend NATO membership to countries right on Russia's borders you don't really want to start WW3 over".
And iirc he also said a regional union of baltic countries would be more effective and better represent the strategic interest of those countries. It sounds pretty sensible.

His ep on the Münster revolt is probably my fav. I dig Common Sense too. I just wish it was every two weeks like it used to be.

>Münster revolt
That one was great! The Mongol one was fantastic too.
>>131068383
His voice is grating to listen to.

i love hardcore hystory, comfy voice plus he won't ever go full 1488 but he presents different sides or perspectives and i like that.
