Did Going From Left to Right Make You Feel Energized? Revitalized?

>nihilist, depressed, lazy, degenerate, addict, mooch

>quickly realize I was duped by hit piece
>realize been duped by left while reading about right wing political philosophy
>start having standards and trying to live up to them, start affirming life, start to work a lot more and save money, get off drugs and cigs, community volunteer
>I remember feeling energized more and more each day, literal energy and vitality
>get disgusted when I think of my past self and how arrogant I was even though I was filthy degenerate
Is this common? I've been reading about positive and negative energy forces and the lefts suicidal tendencies... wondering if there are similar experiences?
