Slowly but surely we could remove a lot of genetic diseases that have been passed on from generation to generation if we did indeed sterilize those that have a massive chance of giving it to their kids.

If you knew from a genetics test that there is a near 85% chance your kid was going to be born with down syndrome, Autism or Scoliosis would you really take that chance the let them be born into a life in which they will never be able to live on their own? To be born into a life half lived with no way to actually strive and be the best you can be?

It's better to not be born at all honestly, and people like that shouldn't be forced to suffer because their parents feel like their kid is a special case and will be something even though this genetic defect impairs them in nearly everything they do.
