I knew him, personally. Not well though. Cool guy. He got like gamma red pilled. It took a toll. When you see the truth, you can't unknow it.

Can you go into a little more detail about how you came to know him?

I found out about him couple years back when I watched the Collapse documentary. then I found about his lectures. I wish he was still alive and running his newsletter. He seemed very aware and knowledgeable about what was going on.

I met him once. I asked him about Gary Webb of Dark Alliance. He insisted it was suicide. I believe him. He cried. Couple of years later he followed his friend Gary out the same way. Sad. He was a sad guy. But I also think his investment in Peak Oil was a bad one. Fracking blew that one out. If he could have just stuck around for Killing the Messenger. I think that would have given him some hope.

He was way off on his collapse hypothesis. Peak Oil is a crock of shit. His heart was in the right place though, even if he became a ganja smoking hippy in his twilight years.
