The communists got us incredibly badly in the years after the war, as they were able to coattail-ride Western "Nazi suppression" (for lack of a better term, propaganda) into uncontested authority over virtually all institutions of higher learning and rely on our allies to cover for them. Needless to say, a lot of them would pass themselves off as Jews (or were Jews).
